I used to love the tuna melts but as I got older had less and less of the sandwich bread. I’ve had to be more creative. Tuna is something we eat a lot of. I choose the wild caught packed in water variety. Tuna is a fairly inexpensive and easy quick source of protein and omega 3 fatty acids among other nutrients.
The twisty part comes in because years ago my son wouldn't eat tuna. But adding a fun word made the meal more fun and he was more likely to at least try it.

INGREDIENTS:
2 cans Tuna (drained)
2 Hard Boiled Eggs diced (an Egg Slicer works great for this)
1 tablespoon Hemp Seeds (can leave out if you don't have them)
1/8 tsp onion salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3 tbsp Primal Kitchen Mayo
One avocado
DIRECTIONS:
Open and drain the tuna, put it in a container
Slice the eggs and add them
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir it all together
From here the options are endless. You can use regular bread for a sandwich. A wrap. 'A romaine lettuce leaf or a lettuce bowl if you’re not having grains.
The add-in options are also endless. Onion, bell pepper, pickles, literally anything you enjoy. It's easy to package up in a cooler for lunch.

The Primal Kitchen Chipotle Lime mayo would give it a little bit of a kick.
This makes about 3 servings
