Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Air fryer chicken wings are super easy and quick.

Cooking them in the air fryer is faster than the oven and they come out crisper.

I use this double basket Air Fryer

These are pretty mild. There are other variations at the bottom of the page.

This is for approximately 2 pounds of chicken.

  • The chicken has to be defrosted and cut apart.

  • Pat each one to dry it off completely. This helps get them crispy. I use a cookie sheet with paper towels. I use a baking pan to set them in, add the seasonings, and toss them .

  • Over the chicken, sprinkle:

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon avocado oil

  • Toss to coat all the pieces with the seasonings.

  • Preheat the air fryer for about 3 minutes at 400 degrees.

  • Add the chicken, not touching, in a single layer in each basket. I can put 8 pieces in each basket.

  • Cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

  • Flip each piece of chicken.

  • Cook at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

  • Remove and repeat until all the pieces are cooked.
